If you've been looking for a place where women genuinely support one another, celebrate each other's successes, and build real relationships, you might have just found it.
Polka Dot Powerhouse is a community of women from all walks of life. Our members include business owners, professionals, retirees, creatives, public servants, stay-at-home moms, women navigating life transitions, and plenty of women who simply wanted to meet good people and be part of something positive.
What brings us together isn't what we do for a living, instead it's how we show up for one another. We believe in connection over competition, collaboration over comparison, and creating a space where women can feel encouraged, supported, and valued.
What You’ll Find Here:
Genuine Relationships: The women you meet here won't just collect your business card and move on. They celebrate your wins, check in on you when life gets hard, and often become friends beyond the walls of our monthly meetings.
Encouragement and Support: Whether you're growing a business, building a career, starting over, settling into a new community, or simply looking for your people, you'll find women who are ready to cheer you on.
A Place to Belong: This isn't “traditional networking”. There are no awkward sales pitches or pressure-filled conversations. Nutshell: Real women building real relationships.
Collaboration: We believe there is room for everyone to succeed. That's why our members love sharing ideas, resources, opportunities, and connections whenever they can.
A Community That Goes Beyond Your Chapter: As a member of Polka Dot Powerhouse, you're connected to thousands of women across the globe. Whether you're traveling, relocating, looking for resources, or simply expanding your network, those connections are there for you.

Featured Speaker
Speakers share valuable insights, experiences, and practical takeaways
We love meeting new faces.
You're welcome to attend one chapter meeting as a guest before deciding whether membership is right for you. It's the best way to experience the culture, meet our members, and see what Polka Dot Powerhouse is all about.
And if you know another woman who could use a little more connection and support in her life, invite her to come with you.
Our speakers help educate, inspire, and encourage our members through topics that support personal and professional growth.
Rather than delivering a sales presentation, we ask speakers to focus on sharing valuable insights, experiences, and practical takeaways. When members connect with your message, relationships naturally follow.
Selected speakers receive a 20-minute presentation slot, including audience questions. Applications are reviewed carefully to ensure a variety of topics and perspectives throughout the year. Because our calendar is planned well in advance, submitting an application does not guarantee a speaking opportunity.

Topic: Life Illumination Circle: Contemplating Your Life Through the Lens of Death
Meeting Date:
Thursday, August 20th at 6:00pm
What you will walk away with:
Why contemplating mortality can be life-enhancing - How awareness of death sharpens our focus, clarifies priorities, anchors us in the present moment, and motivates us to live more intentionally rather than by default.
What common end-of-life regrets reveal about self-love and forgiveness - Insight into common deathbed regrets and how unexpressed emotions, unresolved relationships, withheld love, and fear, shape the way we live - and how we can choose differently in the here and now.
How to reconnect with authenticity and live more fully now - Practical reflection on becoming an active participant in your life, cultivating compassion for yourself and others, and aligning daily choices with what you want to remember at the end.
About our Speaker: Colleen is a certified End-of-Life Doula, Reiki practitioner, hospice volunteer, and Advance Care Planning Consultant who supports individuals and families in navigating aging and end-of-life with clarity, compassion, and intention. Her calling emerged through personal experience with loss and years of caregiving for her parents. This shaped a deep belief that when approached with presence and preparation, death can be a powerful teacher that brings clarity, self-love, and meaning to life. With a gentle, grounded presence, Colleen blends intuitive energy work with practical end-of-life education, hospice experience, and advance care planning support. A passionate advocate for normalizing death and restoring its sacredness, she helps people engage in meaningful conversations, clarify their wishes, and approach both living and dying with greater presence, peace, and self-compassion
